Andhra Pradesh Police win 14 national awards


Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Police has won 14 awards nationwide for adopting innovative technologies in services and reforms introduced in the department.

Governance Now 2022 announced the awards on Saturday. Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam City, Kakinada, NTR District, Prakasam Districts, Chittoor, Tirupati and Kadapa won the awards. DGP K Rajendranath Reddy said in a press release on Saturday that so far Andhra Pradesh has won 189 national awards for using innovative technologies and implementing reforms in the past few years.

He said Andhra Pradesh was a model for other states. He said PA police have won awards through the collective efforts of police personnel and officials.

He said Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has always stood behind the police and encouraged reforms and provided guidance for better policing. Visakhapatnam City received an award for its Disha Counseling Center for Women in Need, Kakinada won the Strategic Response Center Award, NTR District won the Visitor Management System and Security System Award intelligent adaptive traffic control, Prakasam district won award for prison release search system, Chittoor got award for technical analysis wing, Tirupati for Cyber ​​Nari and integrated 3 netra 2.0, Kadapa got an award for ISPARC, Forensic Fire Services Headquarters, Internet Protocol Radio and the Police’s Automated Online Information System.
