EXCLUSIVE: Epix and Blumhouse TV have rolled out their next small screen feature – The visitor with Finn Jones and Jessica McNamee.
The film, which is being directed by Justin P. Lange from a screenplay by Adam Mason and Simon Boyes, is the latest TV movie under the two companies’ agreement to produce eight stand-alone films.
Dickinson and Awake star Jones and Battle of the sexes and Mortal combat Star McNamee is directing the cast of the psychological horror thriller.
After a series of tragedies including the death of his stepfather, Robert and his wife Maia leave their London home to return to their childhood home. But when Robert discovers an old portrait of a man in the attic which is his spitting image, he descends into a rabbit hole to discover the identity of this mysterious lookalike known only as the visitor. It doesn’t take long to realize that where the visitor goes, death follows.
The cast also stars Dane Rhodes (Horror show) and Donna Biscoe (Hunger games). Production is underway in New Orleans.
Adam Mason and Simon Boyes have previously collaborated with Blumhouse Television on several episodes of In the dark, with McNamee also featured in the anthology series.
