Jobs on the way after investment in Coventry tourist attraction | Midlands property news

Jobs are being created with the launch of three new outlets at a tourist attraction in Coventry.

Coombe Abbey Park LACo, together with No Ordinary Hospitality Management (NOHM), which manages a number of venues and attractions in the area, including Coombe Abbey Hotel and St Mary’s Guildhall, has undertaken a 400,000 renovation program £ to bring additional facilities to the War Memorial Park.

The company remodeled two existing cafes on site and added an ice cream stand in the heart of the park. 20 jobs are created while current members of staff stay with the organization by moving to outlets.

The Park Bistro is joined by the former Visitor Center cafe, which has been given a 50s-themed makeover and now functions as a dessert restaurant.

Richard Harrison, Managing Director of NOHM, said: “War Memorial Park has been a haven for Coventrians for over a century. To reflect its continued appeal and charm, the food outlets have been designed to offer something to visitors from all walks of life on a daily basis, while remaining faithful to the traditions of the park.

“We look forward to the new era of War Memorial Park and are proud to have helped bring it to life.

“There’s something for everyone at our three new outlets, from breakfast to dinner to one of our delicious sundaes.”
